WA Councillor defies re-education order

Dr. Thomas Brough, a local councillor in Albany (Western Australia) has spoken out against the City of Albany ordering him to undergo a course of political indoctrination because he queried the possibility that pedophiles were part of the “coalition of the LGBTQIA”.

The ABC reported on the case, saying that:

“Councillor Thomas Brough has been directed by the City of Albany to undergo respectful and inclusive workplace training after complaints following his comments at a council meeting during Pride Week in February.”

Brough, who works in emergency medicine, was condemned by the LGBT-QWERTY mob for daring to ask if there could be a pedophile element in the so-called “Rainbow community”.

However, James Parker, a former homosexual activist, said:

“Brough is right, as many of us linked to the LGBTQ+ community know. There are minor-attracted men who use LGBTQ+ settings to identify and lure in minors for their own sexual gratification. Why do you think concerned American members of the queer community took the time to set up a group called Gays Against Groomers?”

According to “Out in Perth”, Thomas Brough wrote in a newsletter that:

“he had proof that LGBTIQA+ activists had advocated for inclusion of “minor attracted people” within their communities, citing past comments made by Emeritus Professor Gary Dowsett from Latrobe University, and the existence of a US based website that offers treatment strategies for people who feel they are attracted to minors.”

The pedophile element is regarded as the homosexual community’s “dirty little secret”; people know they exist, but don’t want to talk about it too much, as doing so could, and would, harm the PR image that homosexual groups are trying to portray to the public. Some think that the homosexual agenda is all about festivals and prancing about, and they would be horrified to learn that there is a murky underbelly to the homosexual community of actual pedophiles, as well as those who have been described as “pedophile-adjacent”.

Dr. Thomas Brough is a member of the Liberal Party, so it will be interesting to see if he gets kicked out of that organisation of the political Establishment. Just like the Labor Party, the Liberal Party supports the LGBT-QWERTY agenda, like the weak-kneed soft-headed ratbags that they are. The old Labor and Liberal stalwarts would be turning in their graves at the thought that their once-traditional parties now support all sorts of sexual depravity and gender-shifting weirdness.

However, it appears that Brough is not anti-homosexual, so it looks like he will get some support from within the Liberal Party.

Senator Matt O’Sullivan (Liberal) defended Brough in parliament, saying:

“Councillor Thomas Brough … commented on the funding of the recent pride festival held in Albany … essentially asked the council to satisfy itself that there are no persons connected with the Albany event that would support the views of some pride event organisers in other jurisdictions around the world who advocate for minor-attracted persons to be included as a supported group as part of the LGBTQIA+ community.

… The ABC selectively presented Councillor Brough’s comments to provide a very lopsided and misleading characterisation of an otherwise upstanding councillor that Albany constituents can be proud of.

… He was simply raising the concerns that his constituents have shared.”

Possibly the most important part of this debacle is that the Politically Correct mob are demanding that Dr. Thomas Brough undergo some kind of “attitude adjustment” programme. This smells of the sort of nasty claptrap that would occur in a Stalinist regime, or in communist China or North Korea, where brainwashing was, and is, par for the course.

Some might ask “Surely political brainwashing doesn’t occur in Australia though?” Actually, too right it does. Politically-motivated brainwashing goes on all the time in government bodies and corporations, where part of the regular training programme is to include brainwashing materials regarding Multiculturalism, Homosexuality, Transsexuals, and other types of Political Correctness. Politically-motivated brainwashing even forms part of the Australian legal system, where offenders can be sent by the courts for “re-education”.

Many young Australians have had the misfortune to have gone through the brainwashing mill of the Leftist-dominated education system, especially those who went to universities dominated by neo-Communists and Cultural Marxists, and were churned out by the System — each of them becoming just another brick in the wall of the Multi-Culti Globo-Homo superstructure. Hopefully the defiant attitude of Brough against the anti-Western Cultural Marxist Establishment will wake some of them up from their brainwashed state, so they can become true-blue Australians, instead of NPC bots.

Dr. Brough wrote, in his councillor report of 23 July 2024:

“Coercion of thought has no place in our city.

… The forced re-education of citizens is a cause for deep shame. Coercion of thought is the mark of the bully. Coercion of thought is the mark of diversity-of-viewpoint phobia.

Forced indoctrination of elected officials is a sign of dark times. It has no place in our modern democracy. To those who would impose their will upon the minds of others, I say this: you fight a losing battle. Ideas cannot be caged. Thoughts cannot be shackled.

… It is in the public domain that council decided that their ratepayers should foot the bill for a uniquely un-Australian punishment: my forced re-education by government bureaucracy. Conversion therapy (or at least on the cusp of it). Let me be clear: I will not comply. Let me be clear: I defy you.”

Well, good on Dr. Brough, for standing up for himself.

We can only hope that traditionally-minded true blue Australians will fully support Thomas Brough in his rage against the Machine. We wish him well in his fight against the neo-Communist types who want to send him off to the modern-day version of a re-education camp.

All of us must stand up against the bullies that predominate in the ideology of Political Correctness. It is essential for the well-being of our nation that every true-blue Australian fights back against the new Red Terror that seeks to subjugate all normal and decent people.
